When schools, families and the community collaborate, children are the winners. Knowing this, Waller ISD put together Parent and Family Engagement, a suite of programs and services designed to connect and provide resources for families and students.

Does it work? The Parent and Family Engagement Statewide Initiative certainly thinks so! They recently awarded Family Engagement Specialist Adela Cornejo with the Promising Practices Award during their 2022 Parental Involvement Conference. The award is given to only three school districts across Texas that show outstanding work in the critical area of parent and family engagement in education.
