With a bit of cooler weather and the return of pumpkin spiced-everything, fall is here. To make the most of all the seasonal fun, make sure to visit a local pumpkin patch and put these fall events happening near Cypress Green on your calendar:
What: Visit Harvest Season Farm for its 3rd annual Pumpkin Patch with tons of pumpkins, food, vendors and fun activities for the family, including a playground, bounce houses, unlimited hay rides and pumpkin painting. Entry is $15 per person, but children ages 2 and younger are free.

When: Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. through Nov. 2
What: Bring the family to have some fall fun at the 50-acre Oil Ranch with a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, hay rides, miniature golf, a petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, festive photo opportunities and more. General admission is $21.95-$25.95, and children 2 years old and younger receive free admission.

What: Find the perfect pumpkin at Rosehill Palms, a local hidden gem hosting its 16th annual pumpkin patch with festive activities and an array of pumpkins to choose. Entrance is free.

When: Mondays through Sundays from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. through Thanksgiving weekend
What: Enjoy a pumpkin patch and fall activities at The Good Vibe Farm’s annual pumpkin patch days, featuring the chance to choose a pumpkin, paint a pumpkin, enjoy the playground, grab food from food trucks, and meet the animals of The Good Vibe Rescue Farm and Petting Zoo. Tickets are $20 per child, and spots are limited.

When: Oct. 17-18 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
What: Go trick-or-treating or just dress up in costume to shop at the Tomball Farmers Market with 80 local vendors during the special spooky market day. Guests are asked to bring a food item to donate to the Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries.

When: Oct. 25 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
What: Join Tomball Bowl for a spooky weekend of activities, including costume contests, games, prizes, a bounce house, trunk-or-treating, and seeing a live, 40-pound Burmese python on Friday evening. “Boo-ling” with food, arcade games, drinks and blacklight bowling starts at 8 p.m. each evening.

What: Visit Tomball’s Depot Day Fall Fest featuring trains and autumn charm with attractions like a massive model train display, touring the historic Depot Museum, live music, carnival games, trackless train rides, food and vendor booths. Admission and parking are free for this event.

When: Nov. 1 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
What: Dig up history at Kleb Woods’ Diggin’ Old Stuff Archaeology Festival, tour the historical Kleb house, play old-fashioned games and make a keepsake. Children must be at least 7 years old to participate in the real dig with the Houston Archeological Society.

What: Celebrate fall in Magnolia with Backing the Brave TX’s second annual Fall Festival, featuring live music, food trucks, vendors and activities for all ages. The event honors local military families, veterans and first responders.

What: Cozy up with a fall-themed movie fit for all ages to enjoy at this free event hosted by Harris County Precinct 4.
